classssssss 6th period.

The goal of education is to keep students enticed and keep them wanting to come to class everyday and learn something different. Now I’ll admit, I may count down the minutes in class, but only because my lunch is the next period… nothing against the class. Philosophy is one of my favorite classes. Much of that has to do with Mr. McCarthy. I have honestly never had a teacher who can hold attention of a classroom filled with thirty students, for an ENTIRE period. This is why I chose to take this class in the first place, all because of Creative Writing last year. Now that class may have been filled with chaos sometimes, but I honestly loved the assignments McCarthy came up with, our finals were great, and any writing assignments we had were unique and never heard of. You just couldn’t leave that class and not have laughed the whole period. The same is for Philosophy. There is always some joke made, and laughing happens more than once in this class. This is what makes this class so appealing. There are other classes that you arrive and leave sad. This is a direction that other classes need, Philosophy 6th period, is just fine. The best class I have so far.

And Creative Writing was the best class last year. :]
