Everyone grows up in a different environment. No two people’s upbringing is identical to another’s.
Our knowledge starts from the people who brought us in this world… our parents. Our knowledge, when we’re young, is reflected from our parents. When most people are young, they think that their parents are the only people right in the world. So their beliefs and their knowledge is instilled in our head. No matter how incorrect, one sided or brilliant it may be. This is how beliefs stay around, from generation to generation.
But our parents are not the only people who have some sort of infliction on our knowledge. An obvious source of our knowledge is our schools. The school we go to and the communities we live in have great afflictions on our knowledge and morals. If someone lives in a conservative area, the product of their offspring’s is most likely going to be conservative children. If church is a big part of a community then the child being inflicted is most likely going to live life with a big tie with religion and church. A community has a big impact on our knowledge, if we stay in our communities for their entire lives, then they will never know anything different. We will only know what has been taught and exposed to us.
Our experiences are only known by us as an individual. Not one person on this earth can tell me what I have been through. This gives us knowledge as well. Maybe not in a traditional classroom, gaining knowledge, but everyone learns from their experiences.
Giving every individual their own separate, unique knowledge.
